About

I am an ecosystem scientist interested in putting the functional roles of animals on the map. That is to say, animals matter. My research explores how wildlife - across their wonderfully diverse forms - create and maintain healthy ecosystems.

In a changing world dominated by human actions, using informed wildlife management strategies is essential for promoting adaptive and resilient ecosystems. I'm motivated to understand and communicate the unique roles that wild animals play in shaping our collective future.
